Right now, the U.S. Senate is pushing to pass climate change legislation called the Lieberman-Warner Climate Bill. Though it means well, this drastic legislation will have a devastating effect on our economy - costing families thousands more in electric bills and thousands of Americans their jobs. The fact is, we need to tackle the problem of climate change, but we can't do it on the backs of hardworking Americans. We can have a clean environment AND a healthy economy. Contact your U.S. Senators. Tell them to stop the panic. Tell them we can do better. We need to take a deep breath and find the right answer.
